Introducing the Alberta Ombudsman’s New Complaint Checker!
Have a complaint about administrative unfairness but not sure where to start? The Alberta Ombudsman’s new Complaint Checker, available now, guides you through the process, making it faster, easier and more efficient than ever to submit a complaint.
The first step is determining if your complaint is about an organization that the Alberta Ombudsman can investigate. In 2024-25, the office received more than 5,500 cases – many of these were about organizations outside of our jurisdiction. That’s a lot of people looking to bring their complaint to the Ombudsman! The Complaint Checker helps by presenting common complaint categories that make it easy to understand at-a-glance if our office has jurisdiction to investigate your concern.
