Health Professions

Health professionals are regulated in Alberta and are members of their respective professional colleges. The Alberta Ombudsman’s office cannot investigate individual health professionals, like doctors or nurses, but we can investigate complaints about the professional colleges that license and regulate them.

To make a complaint about a health professional, you may do so by contacting the appropriate health college.
